Congratulations to Dominik Cunningham on being announced as one of the Marzee Graduate Prize winners for 2022.
Dominik is focused on articulating the black experience through bodily adornment. With a wide lens Dominik seeks to supply a vision of blackness, which acts as a visual juxtaposition to prevalent images of hegemonic power.
This year’s selection of winners was made by Rudolf Kocéa and Marie-José van den Hout.
